St. Louis Basketball Coach Rips Shots With Fans After Best Start In School History

St. Louis head coach Josh Schertz is the toast of the town after leading the Billikens to their best start in school history.

After crushing Dayton on Friday night, 102-71, to move to 21-1 on the season, Schertz went to a campus bar and started ripping shots with fans:

According to those in attendance, he even let fans rub his bald head while he was behind the bar. With Internet sensation Robbie Avila — a.k.a. "Cream Abdul-Jabbar" — as his leading scorer, America can only hope the Billikens make a deep run into March Madness so we can witness more moments from Schertz like this.

Michigan's Dusty May Laughs Off Icy Welcome At Breslin Center

Michigan head basketball coach Dusty May got the last laugh on Michigan State's students Friday night.

May got an icy welcome from MSU students when he walked into the Breslin Center before No. 3 Michigan played No. 7 Michigan State in East Lansing, which immediately went viral for being a quintessential college rivalry moment.

After Michigan built a 16-point lead at the half, Michigan State stormed all the way back to take the lead with 7:27 left in the game.

But the Wolverines held on for an 83-71 win on the road — Michigan's first win at the Breslin Center since 2018.

After the game, May explained soaking in the hate from the Spartan students.

Tyrann Mathieu Shares Insane Strategy To Pass LSU Drug Test

"The Honey Badger" turned into "The Honey Bleacher" to try and pass a drug test in college.

Tyrann Matheiu, the legendary LSU defensive back and former NFL star, recently revealed on his podcast that he was once so desperate to pass a drug test in college that he mixed bleach into his Coca-Cola to try and flush drugs out of his system after reading about it on the Internet.
Thankfully, Mathieu quickly vomited and was spared a premature visit to the morgue.

Mathieu reportedly failed or admitted to failing over 10 drug tests during his time at LSU, leading to dismissal from the LSU football program in August of 2012.

Mathieu dropped to the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft but ended up playing in the NFL for 12 seasons, where he won a Super Bowl and was named to the Pro Bowl three times.

Bill Belichick's Hall of Fame Entry Sabotaged By Former Colts GM?

Did Bill Belichick's nemesis Bill Polian have North Carolina’s head coach blocked from being a first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer?

After Belichick was denied entry into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on his 1st try despite 8 Super Bowl rings came rumors that the former Indianapolis Colts GM sabotaged Belichick’s entry over the Deflategate & Spygate scandals.
Polian denied the allegations — but then said he couldn’t remember if he voted for Belichick to be inducted to the Hall of Fame or not.  If nothing else, this drama has done the seemingly impossible and united the Internet behind Belichick, the biggest curmudgeon in sports.

Internet Reacts To Diego Pavia's Senior Bowl Height Measurement

Vanderbilt QB and college football bad boy Diego Pavia came up short at the Senior Bowl — literally.

Despite being listed as 6-feet tall on the Commodores' website, Pavia was measured at just 5-foot-9 leading up to the Senior Bowl on Saturday.

The Internet had a field day with this discrepancy. Already facing an uphill climb to be picked in the 2026 NFL Draft since Pavia turns 24 next month, his climb to the NFL just got a little steeper.

Drake Maye Has North Carolina On Verge of Super Bowl History

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye has his alma mater one win away from joining an exclusive club.

If the Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, the University of North Carolina will become just the 6th school produce a United States President and Super Bowl-winning quarterback.

Since Harvard University is not on this list despite producing the most U.S. Presidents with 8, former Harvard QB and NFL journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick joked about letting his alma mater down.

Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold Makes History For Alma Mater

QB Sam Darnold will make surprising history when he starts Super Bowl LX for the Seattle Seahawks on February 8th.

Believe it or not, Darnold will become the first USC alum to be the starting QB in a Super Bowl when the Seahawks play the Patriots in San Francisco.
It's hard to believe USC has never had a QB start the Super Bowl considering its long list of great college quarterbacks — such as Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, Caleb Williams, Rodney Peete, Matt Barkley, Todd Marinovich, Pete Beathard and Pat Haden — to just name a few.

On Super Bowl Sunday, every USC alum will be pulling for the Seahawks to bring home the Lombardi Trophy.

Fernando Mendoza Changes LinkedIn To "Open To Work" After Declaring For NFL Draft

Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza declared for the 2026 NFL Draft in the most Fernando Mendoza way possible: By updating his LinkedIn profile to say "Open To Work."

Mendoza is a noted LinkedIn-aficionado who has previously said it is one of just two social networks on his phone to avoid distractions (YouTube is the other).

The reactions on the Internet were priceless:

Google Honors Indiana Head Coach After Winning National Title

Even Google tipped its cap to Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti for winning the national title in just his 2nd years as the Hoosiers' head coach on Monday night.

Cignetti is legendary for saying at his introductory IU press conference, "It's pretty simple, I win. Google me."

Cignetti kept his word by going 27-2 in his first two seasons in Bloomington and winning the national title on Monday night in Miami.

Google was so impressed that the Internet search engine recently updated searches for "Curt Cignetti" to include a message above the search results that says, "Yup, he won."

Adult Film Star & Miami Hurricanes Fan Calls Out ESPN

Adult film star and University of Miami student Abella Danger is calling out ESPN for showing her in the stands during Monday night's national title game between Indiana and Miami.

Danger told TMZ: "I would give anything in the world to not have had ESPN film me, and I am so deeply sorry to anyone I offended with my attendance at the game... I wish I could be any other student supporting my team."

She was shown looking anxious late in the 4th quarter as Miami trailed Indiana 24-14 before ultimately falling to the Hoosiers, 27-21.

Danger – whose real name Amirah Day – is currently studying at the University of Miami, with the aim of becoming an attorney after retiring from adult films.

Naturally, the Internet found it odd that she took issue with being shown at a football game when she has been filmed during much more intimate moments.

UCLA Head Coach Rips Big Ten For Scheduling

Upsetting No. 4 Purdue 69-67 on Tuesday night wasn't enough to put UCLA head coach and noted curmudgeon Mick Cronin in a good mood.

After the game, the Bruins' head coach ripped into the Big Ten Conference for scheduling 5 of UCLA's first 7 games on the road and playing Purdue on just two days rest. He later added: "I don't think they care about basketball. Truly. That's just my opinion."

This isn't the first time Cronin has sounded off on the Big Ten's scheduling, as the Bruins are forced to travel from coast-to-coast since joining the league in 2024 from the Pac-12.

One year ago, Cronin blasted the league for the amount of East Coast trips the Bruins are forced to make.
It turns out putting UCLA and Rutgers in the same conference isn't such a great idea for the players and coaches who actually have to do the travel.

ESPN's Viral '4K Couple' From Indiana-Miami National Title Game Identified

The breakout stars of the college football national title game between Indiana and Notre Dame known as "The 4K Couple" has been identified.

In case you missed it, a pair of Indiana fans went viral on Monday night for being directly in front of the camera for ESPN's 4K broadcast, spawning countless memes as they realized mid-game that their romantic in-game interactions had spread like wildfire on the Internet.

Unlike the infamous Coldplay couple, these two love birds are actually married.

The couple is Tyler and Anne Dunn from Indianapolis and they were in attendance because Tyler is an Indiana alum.

Tyler might want to pinch himself to make sure this isn't all a dream because he just witnessed one of the worst college football programs win a national title and became Internet famous in the same night.

Kentucky Wildcats Beat LSU With Christian Laettner Shot

34 years after losing to Duke on an almost identical play in the 1992 Elite Eight, Kentucky basketball hit a Christian Laettner-style shot to beat LSU on Wednesday night, 75-74.

Kentucky (11-6 record) trailed by 18 points at the half before storming back and winning the game at the buzzer.

Ironically, it was Kentucky on the other end of the most famous shot in the history of college basketball, Christian Laettner's iconic basket to beat UK in the 1992 Elite Eight.
Wildcat fans are hoping this win will turn around a disappointing season that started with UK ranked #9 in the preseason but has featured inconsistent play and unexpected losses.

College Football QB Transfers To His Seventh School

TJ Finley is engaging on a college tour of America, as the college quarterback just transferred to his SEVENTH school.

After starting his college career at LSU, Finley then went to Auburn, Texas State, Tulane, Western Kentucky, Georgia State and has now landed at Incarnate Word, which is an FCS school.

How is Finley still eligible to play? All players from the 2020 season got an extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-shortened season and Finley applied for and was granted two extra redshirt years by the NCAA.

Finley, who is 23 and a father of three, said he wants to show his kids that they should never give up.

Not everyone is impressed by Finley's determination, as many believe this shows the transfer portal which now allows players to now transfer without sitting out a year is being abused.

Indiana-Miami National Championship Ticket & Parking Prices Are Outrageous

It's going to cost Miami and Indiana fans an arm and a leg — literally — to attend Monday's national title game at Hard Rock Stadium.

Due to the Hurricanes playing in their home stadium and the Hoosiers' 800,000+ alumni network eager to see the football program's first national title, the cheapest tickets to the big game on Stubhub are almost $4,000 a piece.

The game now ranks as the second-priciest event ever held at Hard Rock Stadium, trailing only Super Bowl LIV.

As if that isn't bad enough, the cheapest parking on stadium grounds for the game is $747. Naturally, the Internet came equipped with jokes about the sticker shock.

Internet Accuses Indiana Hoosiers Football Team of Cheating

Indiana has been so dominant in the College Football Playoff that the Hoosiers are now being accused by some on the Internet — without evidence — of running a CIA-level spying operation. πŸ‘€

Veo and Pixellot are camera systems used by college and high school programs to record practices and games, which are uploaded to cloud-based libraries where coaches and players can review them.

There's no evidence this allegations is true but some Internet users are convinced Indiana can't possibly be this good without chicanery considering its long history of losing.
Indiana fans and the majority of the Internet are laughing off the baseless allegations as they prepare for the national title game vs. Miami on January 19th.

Fernando Mendoza's Aunt Goes Viral During Indiana's Peach Bowl Win

Fernando Mendoza wasn't the only member of his family who starred during Friday night's Peach Bowl.

While the Indiana QB led the Hoosiers to a 56-22 beat down of Oregon in the Peach Bowl and threw 5 TDs to just 3 incompletions, his aunt went viral in the stands.

As they are known to do, ESPN's cameramen kept coming back to find the sister of Fernando's mom sitting next to Elsa Mendoza while the Hoosiers cruised to victory. Mendoza's aunt gave fans a reason to keep watching the Peach Bowl in the 2nd half as the Hoosiers destroyed the Ducks. You can expect to see a lot more of Mendoza's aunt on January 19th during the national title game in Mendoza's hometown of Miami.

Hall of Fame Wide Receiver Goes Wild After Miami Wins Fiesta Bowl

It wouldn't be a Miami Hurricanes game without alum and Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin going crazy on the sideline.

Miami's unofficial team mascot was in attendance for Thursday night's Fiesta Bowl between Miami and Ole Miss in Glendale, AZ, and had the time of his life when Miami QB Carson Beck scored the winning touchdown with 18 seconds left in the game.

After the game, Irvin bought an Ole Miss sweatshirt off an opposing fan, put it over a Gatorade jug, took off his belt and spanked the hoodie silly.

Dallas Cowboys Legend Becomes Oklahoma Sooners TE Coach

Dallas Cowboys legend Jason Witten is crossing the Red River to become Oklahoma's new tight end coach.

Witten is an 11-time Pro Bowler who played for the Cowboys from 2013-17 and returned in 2019 after a disastrous one-year stint as a "Monday Night Football" analyst.

Witten has been serving as the high school football head coach of Liberty Christian School outside Dallas since 2021. Witten's son, Cooper, is a linebacker on the team and one of the top high school players in America for the Class of 2027.

In Norman, Witten will be reunited with his old Cowboys teammate, DeMarco Murray, who is the Sooners RB coach.

The only piece missing on Oklahoma's coaching staff is Tony Romo leaving the broadcast booth to become OU's QB coach.

LSU Head Coach Lane Kiffin Accused of Stealing Star QB

New LSU head coach and self-proclaimed transfer portal king Lane Kiffin is at the center of a controversy once again.

After Washington QB Demond Williams entered the portal just days after signing a new deal with U-Dub came rumors that LSU offered Williams millions of dollars to transfer to Baton Rouge. Offering another team's player money when they are not in the transfer portal is known as "tampering" and is against NCAA rules.
After the messy way Kiffin left Ole Miss, Rebels fans are enjoying Lane already creating drama at his new school.
There’s never a dull moment in college football.

Star College Football Wide Receiver Transfers To Arch-Rival

In a true sign of the times, Texas WR Parker Livingstone is transferring to arch-rival Oklahoma.

Livingstone just finished his freshman season in Austin, where he caught 29 passes for 516 yards and 6 TDs and was the roommate of Texas QB Arch Manning.

Livingstone posted a cryptic message on X this past Saturday that read in part, "Never in a million years did I think I would be going into the portal looking for a new home. Some things are out of my control."

On Tuesday, Livingstone tweeted out his decision to transfer to Oklahoma.

Needless to say, Texas fans were not happy with Livingstone switching sides in the Red River Rivalry.

Livingstone will play his old school on October 10th in Dallas and Longhorn fans are already counting down the days until then.
